Jennifer's survey
The survey showed that 9 out of 10 participants said that they liked to use songs in the English class. And according to the survey, the most favorite style of music could not be named as responses were evenly divided across Rock music, Jazz music, R&B and Ballad music. And the last statistics showed majority of respondents, 80%, strongly agreed with the idea that learning songs can affect students’ English acquisition ability.
The first question indicates that almost all English teachers had a particular liking for using songs as their teaching aids. Besides, teachers’ preference for a variety of music styles implies that it’s up to them to decide what style of songs they usually use in the English class. And it can also imply that there is a variety of songs used in the class. From the last result of this survey, I got a strong impression that students can learn English better with a wide range of good music. In conclusion music is, regardless of its styles, a very good material for enhancing students’ brain activity and improving language learning.
Sarah's survey
The respondents of this survey were 10 middle school or high school teachers who have participated in the TTP program in PUFS. Though the questions of this questionnaire are very simple and we don't have many participants here, I hope this result will enable us to know a little bit about what people think of travel for the different categories.
Participants of this survey were asked if they like to travel. 8 out of 10 respondents said that they enjoy traveling very much and 2 out of 10 said they like to travel. One thing that is interesting is there was no one who said they don't like to travel. The questionnaire also asked whether they like to travel alone or with someone else. The majority of the participants would like to travel with someone else and 10% said they like to travel alone. 30% responded they like both of them. The last question was what the most important factor to choose the place to travel is. There were 5 categories - cost, attractions, safety, culture, and others. One of them choose safety, 4 said culture is the most important, and 5 out of 10 answered that the attractions of the country is the most significant factor to choose the place to travel.
In carrying out this survey, I learned that every respondent of this survey likes to travel. The data show that as people make more money and have more free time for their leisure, they try to find more interesting things to do. Travelling can be one of them. In addition, when they choose the place to travel, culture and attractions of the area were the most preferred factors. Teachers’ preference for these factors indicate they don't want to travel just for relax or recreation but they also want to experience other cultures and make their travel more meaningful.

Stella's Survey in class 6
I was curious about the preference about travelling. I prepared three basic shallow questions of place, companion, and form, and one deep question. First of all, participants were asked about the favorite continent to take a trip. Next, they were asked if they’d like to travel alone or with others. Third, there was a question about if they make their own itinerary rather than a guided travel by a travel agency, when they make a travel plan. Last but not least, as the deep question, they were asked what the main concern was when they decided those three things related to their travel.
The responses to this survey showed noticeable preference about travelling. To the first question, 80% of participants chose Europe as their favorite place to take a trip. To the second question, 70% of respondents identified their preference of travelling with others - like with friends or with family members. But about planning their own itinerary, responses were evenly divided between ‘agree’, ‘unsure’ and ‘disagree’. Lastly, to the deep question, most of those participants said that the most influential factors on the decision of travelling were cultural spots like famous historical sites and museums, and conveniences of easy transportation and accommodation.
A majority of participants prefer to travel Europe with others - friends or family. This may be because respondents have much interest in Western culture, which looks exotic and isn't easy to get to know compared with Eastern culture, and Koreans are likely to do activities with a group. Moreover, there are well equipped transportation and accommodation in Europe. Thus, Europe can be the best place to meet respondents' two main concerns ; culture and convenience.

This questionnaire consists of 4 questions, including three closed questions and one open question, and 10 trainees answered them. Question 1 is about the companion in travel. I asked them if they prefer traveling alone to traveling with other people. 6 people out of 10 disliked traveling alone. There was no one who strongly prefers traveling alone. Question 2 is about the preparation before the trip. I asked them whether they plan every detail in their trip, such as destination, food, transportation, etc. 6 people said they're not sure. 2 people agreed that they prepare a lot, but no one said that they plan for their trip in every little detail or they don't prepare at all. Question 3 is about the preferences on the type of travel. Participants were asked what type of travel they like the most. There were 6 options: guided tour, backpacking, cruise, camping car, adventure, other. A majority of participants said they like backpacking the most. Question 4 is about the reason why they chose a certain type of travel in Q3. The reasons they liked the backpacking the most were that it's free and exciting, it's convenient because they can go wherever they want, and they like to discover things by themselves.
Most of the respondents preferred traveling with other people to traveling alone. This may be because people in Korea culturally tend to feel safer when they are in a group than they are alone. For the question about planning the trip, the respondents' answers were mostly in the middle of the Likert scale. This represents that most respondents prepare for their trip but do not arrange every detail, and this may be due to the personality of the people. As for the most favorite type of travel, the majority liked backpacking the most. They chose this because they valued freedom and flexibility.
